Raised airbeds

Raised airbeds feature a sleep surface which allows all the muscles and joints to relax. In a spring mattress the coils press against the body to support it. This design was a great improvement over hard cotton and horsehair mattresses of yore, but it still creates pressure points in the shoulders, hips and knees. Pressure points cause a lack of alignment of the spine and also cut off circulation, causing the sleeper to toss and turn on an average of 50 to 70 times per night!

Raised airbeds allow the sleeper to literally sleep on air. The mattress consists of a very strong air chamber attached to a powerful air pump, which is operated by a remote control.

The air chamber perfectly conforms to every curve and contour of our anatomy, exerting an even pressure over the whole body. Air mattresses cause no pressure points, no constriction of circulation and best of all – the entire spine naturally aligns itself when you sleep on raised airbeds.
